When I arrived last night I looked like death warmed over, so Donovan was gracious and didn't take any pictures of David and me until today. Here he is in his crib, looking at me like I'm an alien or something! When he's awake, he's really quite alert for a boy of less than one month.
I enjoyed holding him and kissing his head over and over during our visit. I just love all the baby sounds and moments at that age. I'm so grateful I didn't miss this completely!
David has the same green velvety/silk blanket Colson does, except David's has little nubs on it. Colson has become very attached to his blanket and it's a special item of his. I love the fact that David has one too-- it makes a little connection there...
