Shuttle Atlantis with Columbus Payload

Shuttle Atlantis went up again today. It was a little harder to see because of it's trajectory and some haze in the sky, but I managed to get one photo:

Later on I was watching the TV footage of the launch with Matthew. I noticed that the announcer said something about Columbus journeying to the space station. I said, "Wait a minute-- the shuttle's name is Atlantis. What's this about Columbus?" Matthew responded, "Mom, the shuttle's name is Atlantis. Columbus is the name of the payload!"

All I could do was laugh. That boy is so smart. He knows so much about the space program, it's amazing. It doesn't even surprise me that he knows the name of the equipment that Atlantis is carrying up there into space.
