Jonathan had a very special flight today. His instructor took him up in one of their aerobatic planes. It's called a Zlin 242L (sample photo above). It has a transparent roof so that they can see 180 degrees and over their heads. Jonathan went upside-down in some rolls and turnovers, and he also did some spins. He said it was a pretty incredible flight! He'll go up and do more of this until he's proficient in handling the maneuvers. The main reason he's required to do these lessons is for safety in the future. If he's in a small plane and accidentally gets caught in the powerful turbulence of a heavy aircraft like a 747, he could easily be flipped over or worse. So again I say to Jonathan, "On behalf of your future passengers, we thank you for your good work!"
