Tuesday mix

At 10am our plumber arrived and got our plumbing problem cleared up. It turns out it was a simple problem with a simpler solution. Our drainage pipe had becomed clogged outside by a pesky root system, called a foxtail. The clog was removed and now all is well. Whew!

JH run errands-- office, Goodwill, airport to look for temporary employement

At 2:40 got a call for a showing at 3pm, managed to get it pushed back to 3:30. We had a mad dash to get the place cleaned up. Fortunately Colson was asleep through most of it, and we plopped Matthew in front of a DVD to keep him still.

We went to Polo park during the showing to let the kids play. We ran into some ladies from Redeemer and I had a nice chat with them. One lady, Anna Mae Giles, had recently sold her house, and she also had to show it dozens of times before it sold. I'm trying not to fret about our situation, despite how things look.

Mrs. Giles was taking care of Molly Martin, who was in town with her mother from Florida. Matthew had fun "playing Narnia" with her and the other kids. We let him know that we'll probably visit Molly sometime after we move to Florida. (If that ever happens, ha!)

We had a lovely dinner after the showing-period was over. Another recipe from my Rachael Ray cookbook. Aussie Meat "Pies"-- yum!

Watched Memoirs of a Geisha before bed. Gorgeous movie, great story, well done.
