I saw an article in Martha Stewart's Blueprint magazine that inspired me to buy a cheapo oval frame at Wal-Mart and post a nicely designed "Please take off your shoes and stay awhile" sign by the front door. With our sand driveway and street, taking shoes off at the door has proven to be "a good thing", as the publisher of the magazine would say. Click here to see the web page.
