Coming Up To Breathe

Ya know, it's funny-- the Lord bestows on us awesome things like his creation, eternal salvation and the birth of our children. He also apparently likes to give us little things like handy parking spaces, jokes of "coincidence", and little musical treats. A Christian band called Mercy Me just put out a new CD, and if I had money to splurge, I'd run right out and get it. Long story short, the Lord sent a free copy my way via a radio contest this morning! It totally made my week, not because a CD is such an awesome thing, but because it's amazing to see how the God of the universe actually cares about little stuff like that, at least once in a while!



Later in the morning I went over to Matthew's school for their "author's day" activities. Each child read from a book that they had created, and all the parents were there to watch and applaud their works. Matthew wrote about a time when we went to the mall to meet my friend Aletta. He enjoyed seeing her and a fun water-ball game that her husband Donnie had helped to construct.

The rest of the day was the usual routine. No showings today-- fully expect some tomorrow.
