Jonathan took the day off from work, and we worked on the house as much as we could between showings. We had a showing at 10am and another at 2:30pm. That's 5 showings since Saturday, and we have a 6th scheduled already for tomorrow! It's great to see the house getting this much activity-- now let's hope the right buyer comes along.
While out running errands, Jonathan dropped me off to see a few friends. In the morning it was Padma Kamatkar, and in the afternoon it was a group of library staff meeting for a birthday lunch. I brought the birthday girl Juanita one of my freshly-baked loaves of bread (making them for every showing, to make the kitchen smell nice), but didn't stay long with either meeting. Just quick hellos before getting back home after errands and the showings were done.
During the afternoon showing, I dropped a 2nd loaf of bread off at Jonathan's office, and it was gobbled up in minutes. Matthew's bus came home and we met him on the street. We drove out to Ed McKay to browse the used books and CDs (bought nothing, of course), and the guys got 2 Krispy Kreme donuts with coupons that we had. I indulged in exactly ONE bite of a donut and that was it!
Matthew had class at The Little Gym after dinner (managed to find enough ingredients to make my lasagna rolls), and then pretty soon the day was over. Jonathan had a paper to write for school, so we spent alot of time in bed doing quiet things like reading and writing. I watched the first 30 minutes of an old Anna Karenina, but soon couldn't keep my eyes open and went to sleep. Tired again...
