On our way, with help

After a quick breakfast, we got right to work on the house. Not too long into our day, we got a phone call for another showing for 1:30pm! We kicked it into super-high gear, tidied as best we could, and jumped ship! Hopefully the prospective buyers will take pity on our various corners of messes that we haven't finished yet. We did manage to get the kitchen and bathrooms pretty clean, which is more important than anything else.

The guys got Papa John's pizza, and the Lord gave me strength to stick with a Lean Cuisine meal and veggies. Got lots of baby weight I can and need to shed, now that breastfeeding is over! We took refuge at Jonathan's office, then headed home to get back to work.

Our dear family friends Cliff and Carolyn Lowery came over to help us. What a blessing! Between the childcare and help with chores, we got SO much done! The house still has more work left, but it looked almost acceptable by the time the next showing.

The realtor arrived early, so we had to scoot out pretty quick and didn't get a whole lot of a chance to say goodbye to the Lowery's. We ran errands for an hour, came home, bathed the boys and got in bed. Whew! And we start again tomorrow-- another showing at 3pm!

Below are pictures from today-- Colson "helping" me with packing paper, the Lowerys playing with the boys in our basement room...
