Big Work Day - Thanks to Many

Colson was up at 6:15am, so therefore I was as well. We enjoyed at least an hour together before the rest of the house stirred. After breakfast we all got to work. The majority of the day was spent packing up the house. Our friend Becky Maier came over to help us for 3 hours-- it was great to see her before we leave, and she was a HUGE help. Thanks, Becksadoo!

Around 11am our friend Robb Warfield came and took Matthew for about 4 hours to go on a trip to Hanging Rock park with his 3 kids. Matthew loves the Warfields, and they had a great time playing and swimming in a stream. We got SO much done around the house with Matthew gone, and he had a ball with his friends, so we were all very happy. Thanks, Robb!

In the middle of the day Jonathan's cousin Ren stopped by. He and Jonathan's dad Al were meeting up at the house to go to the Wake Forest football game later. While Al was here, and later while Ren was here, they both were extremely helpful. Al helped take stuff out to our storage facility and back, as well as lots of other helpful chores. Ren helped move some boxes, and he made packing boxes with Mom in the sunroom. Thanks, Al and Ren!

Jonathan and my Dad ran lots of errands together, with lots of hauling of boxes and furniture. Dad even mowed the yard, which is quite a chore to say the least. The man has even been dealing with back problems lately, so he was really pushing himself (although we didn't let him do TOO much!). Thanks, Dad!

And at the end of the day after their errands were done, my dad and Jonathan went to the 2nd half of the WFU/Syracuse game, and our team won! Go Deacs! As I write this the guys are sitting in the den, watching sports on TV. What fun for them!

It's been quite a work day-- thanks to everyone! We're gonna get it done!
