A fairly usual day...
Our realtor did come by with the official contract on the house, so that was nice. She said it would be okay to talk to our buyers if we see them at church, but to stay away from talking about money if at all possible.
We're continuing to throw around different scenarios for the move. Should we wait until late September to move after the closing? If so, we put off JH's school until mid-October, and we'd rather not do that.
So maybe we'll leave after our home inspection, which is on the 8th, already! We'll find someone to take care of our pool and yard, and we'll head out. Maybe by the end of the month or the beginning of September. If September, then after Labor Day, to avoid crowds on the road.
There are lots of other variables to consider, but we'll get to them all I'm sure. It's a little confusing to try to figure all this out, but at least we're going! Still amazed that this is going to happen...
My parents arrived at the house around 8:30pm to spend the night. We let the boys stay up late to see them, and then they went off to bed. I enjoyed visiting with my folks for a while before we headed to bed. Tomorrow will be a fun lunch in honor of my step grandfather Jack's 100th birthday.
